This 53-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with this adorable eight-month-old puppy which died as a consequence of the internal injuries it suffered – including a torn uterus.

The incident happened yesterday (Wednesday) in the city of Nezahualcoyotl in the State of Mexico in the centre of the country with the same name.

According to local media, a 53-year-old man named as Martin was surprised by the owners of a house where he worked as a security guard while he was trying to have sex their dog Mati, an eight-month-old female dog.

Reports said the owners found the dog suffering a nervous attack and bleeding when they came back from a meeting at night while Martin was in charge of the property.

The local police went to the house where they arrested Martin and took the animal to the vet.

According to the animal care association La Camada Nitin Neza, the vet who helped the pooch confirmed that it died as its lungs had filled with blood, its uterus had been torn and it was suffering from internal bleeding.

The man is now under the custody of the Public Ministry while local authorities are investigating the case.

Reports claim he could be charged animal aggression which carries a prison sentence of two years.
