This teenage boy has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his mum and her husband before killing and dismembering his five-year-old niece because he did not like his mum’s new spouse.
Victims Graciela Holsback, 54, her husband Raul Felix Bravo, 54, and her granddaughter Alma Manino, 5, were found dead in their home on New Year’s Eve in the town of Melchor Romero, in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires.
All three had suffered multiple stab wounds while the body of the young girl had reportedly been dismembered with a saw and her body parts thrown into a rubbish bag.
Holsback’s unnamed daughter reportedly found the bodies around 18 hours after the attack, according to reports.
Bravo reportedly died from an injury to the heart caused by one of the 12 stab wounds he received while Holsback suffered a fatal injury to the abdomen from the 12 stab wounds she received. The girl reportedly died from a cut to the neck.
The prosecutor in charge of the investigation Marcelo Martini said to local media that “the woman was in a room. The man, identified as Raul Felix Bravo, seems to have been dragged to a nearby room, where the bag with the girl’s body was there dismembered”.
The victims are said to have been asleep when the attack started and suffered injuries consistent with self-defence.
The 17-year-old son of the woman, identified in reports as Exequiel, was missing and named a suspect.
According to the prosecutor, it is believed that the suspect of the crime has good blade skills and the suspect reportedly works as a knife maker. Local media report he lived with the victims and he has now been arrested.
Local media report he is believed to have been against the relationship of his mother with Bravo, who wed three years ago.
It is unclear if the suspect has been charged.
