Eto’o Tells Ronaldinho He Looks Older Every Day As Barca Legends Share Tender Embrace In Qatar

This is the viral moment football legend Samuel Eto’o jokes that his former Barcelona teammate Ronaldinho is ‘looking older every day’ as they share a tender embrace at the Qatar Grand Prix.

The footballing superstars reunited during the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix on 21st November.

Cameroon star Eto’o and Brazilian World Cup winner Ronaldinho were not the only former football legends in attendance and former Barcelona teammate Patrick Kluivert was present along with former Everton star Tim Cahill and Italian defender Marco Materazzi.

However, the ‘bromance’ between Eto’o and Ronaldinho was on full show at the event, and a video of their tender embrace is going viral on the Brazilian star’s Instagram page with 820,000 views.

In the clip, the former teammates hug and then affectionately butt heads together before Ronaldinho tells the former Cameroonian striker that he gets “younger every day”.

Eto’o tugs on Ronaldinho’s grey facial whiskers and shoots back: “And you older, eh!”

The pair shared the Barcelona dressing room for four seasons between 2004 and 2008, winning the Champions League in 2006, two La Liga titles in 2005 and 2006, and two Spanish Super Cups in 2005 and 2006.

The fearsome attacking lineup was joined by a young Lionel Messi who made his debut in 2004 and soon held down a first team spot.

Ronaldinho left Barcelona for AC Milan in summer 2008 and Eto’o joined Milan rivals Inter the following summer.
