This is the moment an elderly man is seen doing stretches on the roof of a four-storey building during the lockdown in Spain before he steps down onto the sloping tiles.

The footage was recorded in the city of Ferrol in the Province of A Coruna in Galicia on the Atlantic coast in north-western Spain and shows a grey-haired man stretching on the roof of a four-storey building.

He stretches in both directions before setting a foot on a slanted roof with tiles as he seemingly heads towards a skylight.

The woman recording is heard saying: “Here you have a man doing exercise on the roof of a building, doing sport, this is incredible. People are very bad. This must be the new trend of doing open-air sports.”

The man in the video has not been identified in reports and it is unclear if local authorities took actions against him.

The Spanish government declared the state of emergency on 14th of March and it has been extended to 9th May when they plan to loosen the restrictions on movement.

According to the latest data from the Johns Hopkins University, there have been 213,024 cases of COVID-19 in Spain with 22,157 deaths.
