El Hitler Cartel Boss Bodyguard Arrested Over Massacre

This hitman nicknamed El Hitler who is a former bodyguard of the leader of the Tijuana Cartel has been arrested shortly after being released from prison for killing two cops and massacring 12 people at a party.

Jose Romualdo Quintero Carrizosa, also known by the name of Rito Quintero Hernandez, alias ‘El Hitler’, was reportedly a hitman and bodyguard for the leader of the now-defunct Tijuana Cartel, Ramon Arellano Felix.

Carrizosa had previously been behind bars in the El Hongo prison in n the municipality of Tecate in the state of Baja California for kidnapping.

He was released after serving his sentence but the General Prosecution of the State of Baja California have now revealed he has been arrested again on suspicion of killing two police officers and participating in a massacre which took place in 2001. He is being held on suspicion of homicide and attempted homicide.

Twelve people were killed in the village of El Limoncito of Alaya, in the municipality of Cosala, in the western Mexican state of Sinaloa in 2001. According to reports, the victims were killed whilst celebrating at the birthday party of Valentin Beltran, the Commissioner of the community.

The massacre came when the Sinaloa Cartel, led by Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman, and the Tijuana Cartel were fighting for drug trafficking in the area. The intended target had reportedly been Javier Torres Feliz, right-hand man of El Mayo Zambada who ran the Sinaloa Cartel with Guzman.

The suspect is the brother of Efrain Quintero, who died in a confrontation with the cops on 10 February 2002, where the leader of the Tijuana Cartel, Felix, was also killed.
