This is the moment a handcuffed man in El-Chapo’s former stomping ground is executed by kidnappers in broad daylight after trying to escape.

The incident took place in the colony Lomas de Guadalupe, in the city of Culiacan, in the western Mexican state of Sinaloa on Wednesday.

The victim, who was identified only with the name of Jesus, had been reportedly kidnapped in a car from another part of the city before being handcuffed by his captors.

According to local media, the man was shot after trying to escape his captors.

The video shows the man lying on the ground trying to defend himself and kicking his apparent captors as they try to put him back in the car.

After struggling for a few seconds with the men, they can then be seen shooting him and leaving his body on the ground.

According to local media, eyewitnesses called the emergency services as the alleged assailants escaped.

The man was confirmed dead at the scene when ambulance crews arrived

Sinaloa state is one of the most dangerous in the country and the base of the popular dangerous cartel of Sinaloa, led by the drug lord Joaquin Chapo Guzman.
