These funny pictures were shared by a Dutch farmer wishing netizens seasons tidings by shaving a message on his cows.

The photos were shared by Leon Keijzer who took them at his farm in the town of Vriezenveen in the province of Overijssel in the eastern part of the Netherlands on 13th December.

The funny snaps show some of the farmer’s cows with the message “Merry X-Mas and Happy 2021” written with their fur as the rest of their bodies are shaved.

In his post, Keijzer explained he and a friend of his named Bram Aman decided to take the funny pictures of the cows after spending countless hours shaving the animals and looking for a creative solution to the monotony.

According to local newspaper Tubantia, Keijzer says Aman was over at his place helping him shave the cows as he usually does in winter before placing them inside for the cold months. (https://bit.ly/2KzFsiI)

He said the shaving itself feels good for the cows and it also helps them breathe better as they ride out the winter.

The farmer credits Aman for having the idea of shaving letters on the sides of the cows after spending many nights helping him.

For now, he says he still has some cows he needs to get to shaving in the coming weeks and jokingly welcomes any fun ideas he might try in the future.

The cows with the message written on their side still have the letters there, however, it is unclear how long Keijzer plans to keep them.
