Dulcet-Toned Doctor Belts Out Disney Song For Boy Patient

This is the moment a silky-voiced doctor belts out ‘Remember Me’ from the 2017 Pixar film ‘Coco’ to a young boy in hospital.

The incident was filmed at the Regional General Hospital No. 1 in Ciudad Obregon located in the northern Mexican state of Sonora and was shared on Twitter where it has been viewed by over 40,000 netizens.

According to local media, the silky-toned medic is called Doctor Diego Ismael Leyva Cervantes and he regularly enjoys serenading his young patients with Disney tunes, such as ‘Remember Me’ from the Oscar-winning film ‘Coco’, produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

According to the director of the Mexican Social Security Institute, Zoe Robledo, the dulcet-toned doctor is a big hit with hospital patients, old and young alike.

She shared the clip on social media with the message: “Another pride-swelling moment in our department.

“Do not miss the video of Dr Diego Ismael Leyva Cervantes, a paediatric resident doctor at the HGR1 in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, singing to one of his young patients.”

Netizens also praised the musical medic, with comments including “well done to the doctor for showing love to his patient” and “many specialists like him not only cure conditions, they heal their patients’ souls as well”.
