A Dubai hotel has offered the world’s most expensive New Year’s package with a three-night stay and a luxury Bugatti roadster as well as a specially designed watch all for a price tag of GBP 1.7 million.

ME Dubai Hotel made the exclusive offer after opening its doors in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) earlier this year.

Those able to purchase such a package will be treated to three nights in the Suite ME for themselves and seven guests where they will be given top VIP treatment.

They will also be able to take home a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport roadster and a Jacob & Co.’s Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon watch which was designed to represent the car brand. The roadster is the fastest car under the Bugatti brand.

The luxury package comes with a price tag of no less than AED 8.8 million (GBP 1.77 million).

However, there is a catch, anyone who buys the expensive getaway will not be allowed to cancel once the transaction is complete.

Guests can begin to check into the hotel on 31st December and stay until 3rd January. However, guests are allowed to put off their stay to any date in 2021.

ME Dubai is part of the Spanish hotel chain Melia Hotels International which is based in the resort town of Palma de Mallorca in the Spanish autonomous community of Balearic Islands.

According to Khaleej Times, it is the only hotel in the Middle East to be completely designed, both the indoor and exterior, by British-Iraqui architect Dame Zaha Hadid. (

The London Aquatic Centre is one of her most recognised projects. She received the Stirling Prize on two separate years (2010 and 2011) and was given the title of Dame by Queen Elizabeth II for her work as an architect in 2012.

She died aged 65 of a heart attack in the US city of Miami in March 2016.
