This is the moment a reportedly drunk mum allows her nine-year-old son to drive a car as another minor sits in the back.

The incident was filmed in the town of Naro-Fominsk just outside the western Russian capital Moscow, and the footage was later widely viewed on social media.

In the hire vehicle’s CCTV footage, the pretty mum is seen eating Pringles and apparently pouring herself some wine.

In another shot, the mother’s nine-year-old son is seen driving the hire car on her lap.

The youngster enthusiastically turns the steering wheel as his mum occasionally lends a hand.

According to local media, there was another underage boy seated in the back seat at the time.

The local police have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, but it is unclear if the mother has been arrested yet.

Netizen ‘Tatiana Nai’ said: “What is going on with women at the moment? Dear men, what kind of wives are you picking? I am terrified for these kids’ future.”

‘Evgeniy Vladimirov’ commented: “She is such a pig.”

‘Igor Kirillov’ questioned the clips: “Are you sure the car is moving? Maybe she rented it simply to have a drink inside. I don’t see anything bad with it.”
