This is the moment a TV reporter gets one smell of a soundbite when a fed-up prisoner in the back of a police van chuffs into his microphone.
The parp-etrator had earlier been seized on drugs trafficking charges in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais state, Brazil, on 4th February.
Local crime reporter for TV Alterosa, Pablo Tiago, 40, was trying to grill the suspect as he sat in the van under arrest.
As he thrusts the mic into the van Tiago demands: “They’re saying that all those drugs are yours. Is that true?
“Why did you have an army uniform in your house?”
Suddenly the prisoner lets rip with an enormous fart which reverberates through the van inches from Tiago’s mic and face.
Gagging Tiago leaps back saying: “For the love of God! What kind of filth is this?!”
And as he gasps from the stench, the reporter gives up the interview bid.
Tiago said: “There’s no way. I’m going to end it because the smell is worse than tear gas.”
