DRUGS BUST: Cops Doing A Traffic Stop Find A Bag Of Marijuana And Stolen Gun

This is the moment Atlanta cops surprisingly bust a bag full of marijuana and two handguns while performing a regular traffic stop.

The incident took place in the city of Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia.

Newsflash obtained the footage from the Atlanta Police Department (APD), along with a statement that said: “Zone 5 Field Investigative Team (F.I.T) officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 300 block of McDaniel St.

“Upon the officer’s approach to the vehicle, they immediately noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle.”

Body-worn footage shows the officers detaining the driver, later identified as Christopher Hogan, 36, and the passenger, later identified as Cordarius Sanders, 23, so they can do a more thorough search of the car.

They were able to recover a bag containing 518 grams of marijuana, one handgun that was reported stolen out of Atlanta and an additional handgun that was modified to be fully automatic, an extended magazine and other miscellaneous items, according to the statement.
