Driver Not Wearing Seatbelt Sent Flying Out Of Car And Into Side Of Lorry In Fatal Crash

This is the moment a driver who was not wearing their seatbelt is sent flying from their car when it crashes into a turning lorry, slamming them into the side of the HGV and killing them.

The incident took place in the city of Jieyang, which is located in Guangdong Province, on the coast of southern China, on Monday 6th December.

The footage, which was shot by a dash cam in another vehicle, shows a large, blue lorry pulling a yellow trailer, making a turn. It appears to be pulling out into the road.

Suddenly, a white car appears out of nowhere and crashes into the blue and yellow lorry at speed, sending its driver crashing through the windscreen and into the side of the lorry before they fall to the ground in a lifeless heap.

Local traffic police responded to the scene, according to local media reports, but the driver, who was deemed to have not been wearing a seatbelt, was declared dead at the scene.

The makes and models of the vehicles involved in the incident that cost the unnamed driver their life are currently unclear. It is also unclear what the lorry was transporting.
