Dont Go Daddy, Dont Leave Me. I Love You So Much’ Says Daughter Of Dad Killed By Mum

This woman and her lover have been arrested for shooting dead her ex-husband in front of their young daughter who was later seen in tears at his funeral saying: “Don’t go daddy, don’t leave me. I love you so much.”

The incident took place in the district of Seyhan in the southern Turkish province of Adana where the suspect Gizem Yildiz, 30, lived with her ex-husband and victim Omer Celebi, 30.

According to local media, Yildiz’s lover Sihmuslum Kavut shot the victim on his doorstep after ringing the bell on 4th March.

He reportedly sent a message to his lover, who was at home at the time and allegedly in on the act, saying: “I will come round about 9pm, don’t open the door when I ring the bell.”

The shooting took place in front of the divorced couple’s child and the attacker, believed to be Kavut, then fled the scene on foot.

Celebi was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the police launched an investigation and brought his ex-wife in for questioning.

According to local media, Yildiz confessed to being involved in the crime, naming her lover Kavut as the shooter.

Kavut was arrested shortly afterwards.

Yildiz told the police that she received a message from her lover telling her not to open the door and asked her ex-husband to do it. He was then shot by the suspected gunman.

According to local media, at Celebi’s funeral, his nine-year-old daughter Duru cried: “Don’t go daddy, don’t leave me. I love you so much.”

The girl’s mother and father were divorced but were still living together in their shared accommodation while they sorted out their affairs, and it’s believed that the lovers wanted to speed things up by removing him from the equation so they could be together.

The mother and her lover are facing murder charges as the investigation continues.
