DOGGED DETERMINATION: Chihuahua Refuses To Go Home To Its Quarantined Owner And Holds Onto Window Railings

This is the hilarious image shot outside a window that shows a flying dog clinging to the window bars outside a woman’s kitchen as it tries to avoid having to go home.

As can be seen in the footage, the chihuahua dog holds tightly the bars to try and avoid being lifted back to its apartment above after being lowered to the ground and walked for only a short trip in the garden below by a long lead because its owner has been quarantined and had to stay home.

The video was recorded by an astonished neighbour who spotted the bizarre sight as she investigated what the noise was in her kitchen the Chinese city of Suzhou in the Chinese province of Jiangsu on 12th April.

In the video, the dog can be seen holding the window bars tightly, as someone apparently tries to pull the leash it is attached to in order to raise the dog higher.

According to reports, the owner of the dog had been quarantined due to the epidemic, so he had no choice but to walk his dog on a leash from their apartment.

As the dog had apparently not spent enough time outside, when its owner tried to pull it up, it tightly grabbed the bars over the downstairs neighbour’s apartment, who then recorded the video.

In order to lift the dog up, in the end, the owner had to give in to the dog’s demands and lower it back down to the ground. Only after lowering it for a further walk did it then apparently agree to be pulled up.

The video gained a lot of comments on the social network Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China, such as netizen ‘User 9642421491573’ who wrote: “It’s not that I haven’t had enough fun, it’s that I’m afraid.”

While ‘light cloud’ said: “Like a child.”
