This is the moment tennis superstar Novak Djokovic impresses his fans by performing some tennis freestyle tricks ahead of his Australian Open semi-final against Roger Federer.

World number two Djokovic, 32, posted the video to his army of 6.7 million online followers where he showed his skills off the court by performing tricks with known tennis freestyler Stefan Bojic, 29.

The video shows the moment Djokovic and Bojic stand next to each other and start performing tricks while keeping the ball in the air before sending it high up and letting it fall onto the ground but stopping it from bouncing by stepping on it.

Djokovic yells and laughs in celebration once he finishes performing the tricks successfully.

The video cuts to the former world number one preparing for a trick before volleying the ball with the edge of his racket then throwing it up and catching it with his forearm and handle.

Djokovic is seen performing more freestyle tricks by himself at the end of the video, keeping the ball in the air with the edge and butt of the racket as well as both knees.

The tennis star then lets it fall to the ground and stops it from bouncing or moving with the sole of his shoe before saying “don’t you hear that, don’t you hear the applause?”

Local media report Bojic is considered to be one of the most recognised tennis freestylers in the world, performing and teaching tricks to tennis players all over the globe.

Djokovic is set to take on the current world number three Roger Federer, 38, in the Australian Open semi-final tomorrow (Thursday).

Current world number one Rafael Nadal lost in the quarter-finals to Austrian Dominic Thiem, 26, who will now play Alexander Zverev, 22, on Friday 31st January in the tournament’s second semi-final.
