Busato reportedly died after falling from a balcony at his house while suffering from a hypoglycaemic episode. Hypoglycaemia is a condition in which a person’s blood sugar level is lower than normal.

It is typical in people who suffer from diabetes and it can cause them to feel weak and even lose consciousness.

The dad, whose young daughter is just one year old, was living with his partner, who has been named only as Eleonora.

He reportedly lost his balance and ended up falling over the balcony, which was on the first floor, to the ground.

Paramedics were called to the scene and they tried for a long time to revive him, but their attempts were in vain. His partner is even said to have given him first aid as well.

Busato was reportedly well known and well liked in Marano Vicentino, not least from the years he spent playing on the 5-a-side ‘Silva Marano’ local football team.
