This is the moment a young man suddenly collapses on a treadmill while talking with a pal and dies of a heart attack in the gym.

The incident was filmed at the gym in Yarka, an Israeli Druze village of around 98 percent Arab citizens, located in Israel’s Northern District.

According to local reports, the victim, named as Alaa Fakhri Maadi from Yarka, suffered a sudden heart attack while exercising on the gym treadmill last week.

The victim, said to be in his twenties, collapsed while talking to a friend exercising next to him in the gym.

A group of gym-goers carried the young man from the treadmill and tried to revive him until a medical team arrived on the scene.

But despite the best efforts of attending paramedics, the victim died in the gym, according to reports.

In the footage, the stocky young man, wearing black gym clothes, is seen exercising on the treadmill while chatting with his friend training alongside him.

The victim suddenly falls forwards and collapses on the running machine and his friend rushes over to help.

Other gym-goers offer assistance and Maadi is seen being carried to the entrance and placed on the floor as the video comes to an end.

It is unclear if Maadi had any underlying conditions or if the local authorities are investigating the cause of his cardiac arrest.
