Moment Relatives Find COVID Corpses In Makeshift Morgue

This is the moment several angry relatives of COVID-19 patients storm into a hospital and find at least 10 bodies of dead people lying on beds.

The family members forced their way into the Las Americas General Hospital in the city of Ecatepec in the central Mexican state of Mexico after reportedly being kept in the dark by medics.

The mob attacked a doctor, three security guards and an administrator after they failed to provide information regarding their loved ones, according to reports.

The footage shows the moment the mob comes across several corpses on the stretcher beds lined up in what seems to be a patio and a storage room.

Several COVID-19 victims are seen in body bags in what appears to be a makeshift morgue.

The cameraman says: “Share this, please. They are killing everyone here in Las Americas. This is not right. Look, here they are all covered, share it.”

Reports said that the police were called to the scene to stop the angry relatives removing the corpses from the facility.

The hospital has yet to explain why the bodies were kept in the storage room.

The state health secretary told local media they will take measures to provide more information to relatives about patients’ in future.

One family member told local media: “Those of us here want them to give the bodies back to us because we know COVID-19 does not exist. I think doctors killed my son with an injection.”

It is unclear whether the incident is being investigated by the local authorities.

According to the latest data from the Johns Hopkins University, there have been 26,025 cases of COVID-19 and 2,507 related deaths.
