A young male model has been found dead with a plastic bag over his head in the home of a retired banker after a two-day sex and drugs party.

The grim find was made at the apartment in Milan, Italy, on 12th January, after retired banker and financial advisor Gian Claudio Dalla Benetta, 71, called police.

The victim has been named as model and personal trainer Gabriel Luiz Dias da Silva, 27.

Dalla Benetta – the owner of the apartment – is now under investigation for failure to provide assistance, manslaughter, and concealment of a human corpse.

Investigators are now trying to establish whether the model was killed or died accidentally from an overdose or a sex game gone wrong.

Gabriel had spent the last two days of his life in the OAP’s apartment with friends.

Dalla Benetta told police he had hosted a sex party involving “a lot of drugs”.

He told police that the party took place on Tuesday 10th January, that Gabriel spent the next day sleeping on the sofa, and that he found him dead in bed on Thursday.

Local media reported that his body will be tested for the presence of drugs.

Gabriel’s stepmother told media in Brazil that Dalla Benetta knows more than he is letting on.

Ana Priscila da Silva said: “This suspect was obsessed with Gabriel, he wanted Gabriel’s company.”

Gabriel was from Gravatai, Brazil, but had moved to Italy in March 2019.

He reportedly lived on the same street at Dalla Benetta.

His friends and family accuse the OAP of having threatened to tell police that Gabriel was in Italy without a visa.

Grieving dad Luciano Luiz Silveira da Silva said: “He coerced him. He said, ‘If you don’t come here, I’m going to report you to the police.'”

Acquaintances are said to have told the couple that Dalla Benetta had put pressure on Gabriel to stay with him in his apartment.

Luciano said: “He kept him there. Two, three days with him there. He wouldn’t let him leave.”

Dalla Benetta is said to have claimed about his relationship with the victim: “We were part friends and part lovers.”

Gabriel’s parents deny this.

On why he did not offer help, Dalla Benetta is reported to have told police: “I thought he was sleeping. I didn’t want to disturb him.”

Luciano said: “We hope that justice is done. That this man pays. If he did something, may he pay.”

He added: “Our life mission is to bring our son back here and bury him here.”

The investigation continues.
