This is the moment an irresponsible dad who was a passenger on a motorbike is filmed putting his toddler son on his shoulders without a helmet as they travel along a busy street.
The foolish dad named only as Mr Li was riding pillion as relative Mr Wang drove his bike to a garage in the city of Zigong in China’s south-western province of Sichuan on 27th february
His son, who is reportedly around two to three years old, wanted to tag along despite not having a helmet to wear, and in spite of the vehicle’s passenger limit of two.
During their journey, Mr Li then inexplicably put his son over his shoulders in an apparent bid to entertain him.
The stunt was captured by a passing driver on the city’s North Ring Road, and the video was given to local police.
Local authorities said today (3rd March) that Mr Wang was summoned and would be fined for a series of offences including dangerous driving.
The police did not disclose how much Mr Wang would be ordered to pay.
Mr Li is not believed to have been punished for endangering the safety of his son and other drivers on the road.
