This is the moment a daredevil with no helmet is stuck to the side of a Mustang with duct tape as the driver reaches a speed of 140 kph.
The bizarre incident was staged in the city of Rostov-on-Don in south-western Russia’s Rostov Oblast region and recorded by the team assisting daredevil and stuntman Evgeny Chebotarev.
The daredevil was stuck to the side of the red Ford Mustang GT using duct tape, as can be seen in the video.
He can be seen hanging onto the wing mirror with no helmet on as he lies along the side of the moving car.
A driver from an accompanying car whose name is not reported says that the cars are moving as fast as 100 kph prior to the red one speeding ahead.
The daredevil can then be seen being cut out of the shell of duct tape on the side of the car and he later said: “140 kph (87 mph) while being stuck with tape to a car. My friends are bedazzled as they don’t know what other plans might pop into my head.”
Speaking exclusively to Newsflash Chebotarev said: “I looked at the duct tape and said – ‘it is so solid’. This is when I got the idea to tape myself to a car.”
He added: “This is how I got the idea to do this stunt.”
He said it took his team “20 minutes to tape me to the care. It was fast to get me out of it.”
The clip was shared with his army of 98,500 Instagram followers and they were quick to comment, such as ‘aleks_zonda_r’ who said: “Why didn’t you wear a helmet? Were you afraid of scratching the door? I mean, it’s just a door, not your head…”
‘alexeizhikarev’ asked the blogger: “How will you get rid of the tape marks on the side of your Mustang?”
‘lemekov63’ commented: “This is what you do when you really want to go for a drink with your lads, and there is no space for you in the car.”
There is no information if Chebotarev is being investigated by the police for the stunt.
