A grieving father has claimed his children are haunted by demons after losing all six of them in mysterious circumstances with autopsies unable to explain their deaths.

The heartbreaking deaths to Fatos and Ramazan Yedikardes’ children occurred in the Halimiye district in Turkey’s Sanliurfa province.

Local media report mother Fatos gave birth to healthy twins Meral and Murat three months ago.

However, she recently realised the twins had stopped breathing one afternoon and called an ambulance immediately.

Unfortunately, the paramedics could only confirm the twins had died, with police and prosecutors arriving on the scene to take the bodies to the Sanliurfa Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsies.

Images show the paramedics carrying the babies’ bodies out of the family home with their mother visible upset as she looks on.

Local media report the unfortunate couple have lost four other children in similar circumstances, with autopsies unable to find a cause of death in all four previous cases.

The twins reportedly had no signs of violence on their bodies and father Ramazan said all four of his previous children had died in the same way.

He added: “Our children are haunted by Djinns”.

In the Koran and Muslim tradition, a Djinn is a demonic spirit capable of assuming human or animal form and exercising supernatural influence over people.

The investigation into the twins’ deaths is ongoing.
