Dad Finds Beautiful Daughter, 19, Dead In Bathtub After Breaking Down Bathroom Door

This pretty 19-year-old girl has been found dead in her bathtub by her distraught father, who had to break down the bathroom door to get to her.

The tragic incident took place in the commune of Dumesti, some 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the city of Iasi, which is known as the cultural capital of Romania, in the eastern Iasi County, not far from the border with Moldova, on Saturday 13th November.

Ana-Maria Necoara, 19, was found dead in the bathtub by her distraught father, who had to break down the door to get in, according to Romanian media outlet BZI.

She was reportedly home alone with her father after her mother went into town. She was reportedly in the bath for a few hours, but this did not raise any suspicion because the young woman used to spend a considerable amount of time in there.

But when her mother returned a few hours later, at around 10pm, and she still had not come out of the bathroom, her father broke down the door and discovered her lifeless body.

The father reportedly asked his neighbours for help to break down the door, and, still according to BZI, they suspect that she may have died of carbon monoxide poisoning, as the bathroom is fitted with a wood-burning stove.

Emergency services were called to the family home and they performed resuscitation attempts, but their efforts were in vain and she was declared dead.

Dr Diana Cimpoesu, the head of the local emergency services, is quoted as saying that medics were dispatched after they were alerted to a “19-year-old girl who was in cardio-respiratory arrest”.

She added: “The girl was in the bathroom, heated by the stove. Unfortunately, the crew who arrived at the scene declared the death. The probable cause of death is carbon monoxide poisoning.”
