Dad Arrested For Electrocuting, Drowning, Stamping On And Using Pliers On Own Son, 8

A sadistic dad has been arrested for whipping his son with live power cables, drowning him in buckets of water, and stomping on his head and neck when he was drunk.

Cops arrested the 25-year-old man in the Brazilian city of Goiania on 7th June.

He confessed to brutally torturing his eight-year-old son, telling officers he “turned into someone else” when he drank too much cachaca (a local liquor distilled from sugarcane).

Photos taken by the police show wounds all over the child’s body, mainly on his back and nails, which officers say his father tore off with pliers.

The police were alerted to the case following a report filed by the victim’s grandmother, with whom the youngster went to stay for a few days after his dad had an accident.

According to investigators, the man subjected his son to brutal torture sessions that included burning his body with an uncased power cord connected to the mains.

He would also wake him up in the early hours by drowning him in a bucket of water, would throw him on the ground and stomp on his head and neck, and pull his tongue with pliers.

According to the police, the attacks began last year. At the time of reporting, officers had no information about the mother of the child, who lived with his dad and step-mum.

The suspect was taken into preventive custody and awaits trial for torture. It was not reported how much the suspect’s partner knew about the attacks and if she faces an investigation as well.
