Cute Moment Boy Uses Traffic Cone And Box To Save Kitten Trapped On Wall

This is the moment a little boy tries to rescue a kitten trapped on a high wall with a traffic cone before deciding to use a more spacious cardboard box to successfully bring it to the ground.

The cute scene was filmed in the city of Yantai in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong and the footage was shared on the social network Douyin on 19th September where it has been widely shared by netizens.

According to the news site Sina, the boy encountered a snow-white kitten trapped on a high wall while playing outside.

He reportedly spent around 10 minutes rescuing the cat, first with a traffic cone and then with a raised cardboard box the kitten was happy to step into.

The boy’s mother said: “He held the cone up for around 10 minutes but the cat would not come down so he found a cardboard box.”

In the heartwarming clip, the boy is seen holding up a yellow cone to the top of the wall for the white kitten to use as a platform, however, the animal appears reluctant and the lad’s arms tire.

He holds the cone aloft again as the kitten sticks out a tentative paw before deciding against going any further.

In the next scene, the youngster is seen holding up a cardboard box, lighter for his arms and more spacious and inviting for the kitten.

However, the shorter box fails to reach the top of the wall and involves a bigger ‘leap of faith’ for the cat.

After pacing from side to side, the kitten decides to give it a try and lowers its front paws into the box as the boy holds it aloft as high as he can.

The cat then drops into the box and the boy carries it to the far end of the road as the video ends.

According to his mum, the boy hugged the kitten briefly before letting it go.
