Cute Boar Family Run Through Posh Gated Housing Complex

This is the moment a family of wild boars – including a mum, dad and four piglets – are filmed dashing through a gated community at night.

The family of six living in the woods next to the Lvcheng Zhijiang Yihao Residential District in Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang Province, found themselves lost in the area after entering in search of food.

According to security guards inside the residential community, the family of wild boar (Sus scrofa) frightened local residents late on 25th October.

CCTV video shows the four piglets sprinting behind one of their parents, while the other brings up the rear.

Duty security guards said they pursued the wild pigs and drove them out of the gated community’s east entrance roughly 20 minutes later.

The local fire service as well as members of the forestry bureau were called to captured the family of six hogs, which were last seen inside the grounds of a nearby nursery school.

The authorities said they managed to captured three piglets, but their parents and one of their siblings managed to escape and have not been seen again.

Sadly, two of the piglets injured themselves while evading captured and later died of their injuries.

The surviving piglet was kept in a cage and fed before forest rangers released it back into the wild.

Video of its release shows the grunting piglet making a dash for the trees as soon as it was let go.
