CRUEL JOKE: Shocking Moment Schoolboy Left Paralysed During TikTok Challenge With Pals

A teenage schoolboy has been left paralysed from the neck down after a TokTok challenge that went wrong.

Thirteen-year-old Ahmed Khalid was seen in the video being thrown into the air by eight friends, but the stunt went badly wrong and he landed on his head, breaking his neck in Cairo, Egypt,

The boys had been standing in a line opposite each other as he ran up and jumped into the hands, before being thrown into the air and then finally tossed upwards.

Local media said that the ‘throw your friend’ challenge involved throwing a friend into the air and then stepping to one side as they fell to the ground.

Doctor Bishoy Nabil who treated him said: “Today I saw one of the worst accidents I have ever seen.

“A 13-year-old boy came to the hospital, not moving at all, and after the examination and x-rays, it was found that the boy was paralyzed!

“And the reason is that he was playing with his friends a new “trend” on TikTok.

“The boy had a fracture in the cervical vertebrae and severe pressure on the spinal cord, and in a large percentage, he will not improve!

“A 13-year-old boy was paralyzed by a game!!! Because of a silly joke. What have we come to?!”

The youngster ended up with his legs above him as he struck the ground head-first following the tragedy in Cairo.

After the accident, the Nile Sons International School where he was a student, posted a message hoping that he might recover.

They wrote: “For the student (Ahmed Khaled) I wish from God all health and wellness for all its students,” adding “. . . be kind to your servant Ahmed and grant him complete health.”
