Fun-loving lotto multi-millionaire Kursat Yildirim’s new life as a pop star has been revealed after he was seen walking an alligator on a lead.
A fan’s Tik-Tok clip of Kursat with the four-foot-long reptile started a flurry of speculation that he had bought the ‘gator as the ultimate rich man’s pet.
But now the one-time jailbird has revealed that he was simply playing a part in a pal’s rap video.
He told German media: “I really like animals. Maybe someday I’ll buy a parrot. But it really doesn’t have to be an alligator.”
Kursat – also known as Chico – told how he had been shooting a video in Stuttgart, Germany.
He explained: “The clip is for a well-known musician, but I won’t reveal his name until the new song is released.
“It was a favour, we have mutual friends. Filming was a lot of fun. I also had to rehearse a little dance with several women.”
Music sources revealed that the star is rapper Adrian Bujupi, 31, who had just released a single named ‘Lotto’.
Bujupi shot to fame through the German version of Britain’s Pop Idol, called ‘Germany is looking for the Superstar’.
Kursat – 42, from Dortmund – made headlines when he won a EUR 9.9 million (GBP 8.72 million) lotto jackpot on 24th September 2022.
He then quit his job as a crane operator, dumped his girlfriend and went on a massive spending spree.
In just one month, he blew EUR 1.5 million (GBP 1.3 million).
He bought a GBP 392,000 V8 Ferrari 448 Pista, a Porsche Turbo S Cabriolet, a penthouse in Istanbul, and went shopping at luxury stores like Rolex, Prada, Gucci and Versace.
He also bought a 20-hectare plantation with 6,000 almond trees which he predicts will produce 50 tonnes of nuts each harvest.
