COVID: Russian Army Preps To Spray Building With Cannons

This video shows Russia’s defence forces preparing to fight the coronavirus pandemic using powerful cannons to spray buildings with disinfectant.

The video shows the mobile units of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defence Forces (RCBDF) of the Russian Federation training to combat the threats of viruses and infections.

According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence, the military units of the RCBDF for the protection of the Western and Central military districts, were working to increase the level of readiness of troops to solve problems associated with the emergence viral infections.

The video shows disinfectant being sprayed from a cannon as the units disinfect military vehicles and equipment.

According to the Ministry of Defence, over 2,500 RCBDF specialists underwent the training which saw over 500 specialised vehicles used. The training was carried out at five airfields and seven training grounds.

The ministry reported: “The training is well-aimed to test the transport capabilities of the military department and the capability to transport the necessary forces and means by air and rail to help patients and implement a set of quarantine and medical measures.”
