This is the shocking moment a man is dragged off the bus by his leg and then shoved out the door because he reportedly coughed amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The incident was filmed on a bus in the city of Lviv in the western Ukrainian region of Lviv Oblast, and the footage was later shared on social media where it has been viewed over 25,000 times.

According to local media, the unnamed man coughed on the bus several times and concerned passengers, suspecting he may be infected with COVID-19, forced him off.

In the footage, a passenger is seen punching the man before grabbing his leg and forcing him off the bus as other passengers assist.

An elderly passenger then stands by the door to prevent the man from getting back on the bus.

Reports said that some passengers called on the aggressors to stop assaulting the man, but to no avail.

One eyewitness said the bus driver agreed with evicting the coughing passenger and opened the doors for him to be thrown out.

Netizen ‘Konstantin Orlov’ said: “Ukrainians can be so inhumane and behave like pigs.”

‘Nikolay Shalnov’ commented: “They are like animals.”

‘Mikhail Senin’ wrote: “Idiots!”

It is unclear whether the passenger was injured in the incident and if the local authorities are investigating the matter.
