This is the moment a young couple appears to have sex in a public park next to a busy road in broad daylight.

The incident was filmed in the coastal resort city of Vina del Mar in the central Chilean region of Valparaiso and shared on Twitter where it has been viewed 25,000 times.

In the footage, the young couple is seen lying on the grass under a palm tree while fully clothed.

The man is seen ‘pumping’ vigorously, possibly through an opened zip, as heavy traffic whizzes past.

The woman appears to be lying on her back with her legs spread while her clearly enthusiastic male companion moves his pelvis up and down.

A laughing onlooker is heard saying: “He is going turbo!”

The clip was shared with the message: “Vina, the city of love.”

It is unclear whether the couple was having sex in broad daylight or just simulating the act but this did not stop them from being filmed by the incredulous onlookers.

Netizen ‘VinaDenuncia’ commented: “It shows a total lack of respect.”

‘Alyta’ said: “Motels are available you know!”

‘SandriMiranda’ wrote: “I hope there were no children around when they did that.”

‘EvaArtzi’ remarked: “The person who filmed this is a voyeur.”

It is unclear if police are investigating the couple’s public antics.

Vina del Mar means ‘Vineyard of the Sea’ in Spanish and is Chile’s fourth largest city. Among its tourist attractions one notes the Wulff Castle, built in 1906 and which overlooks the ocean.
