Cops who rushed to a suspected murder after a horrified middle-aged woman reported a suitcase filled with body parts discovered it was really a life-sized first-aid training dummy.

The woman, identified only as Ms Rui, from the town of Zhangqiao in Taizhou City in East China’s Jiangsu Province, called the police after finding a “human hand” inside an abandoned suitcase.
The local residents had gone out for a walk and found the silver luggage next to a set of green wheelie bins on 20th October.
Curious as to why a seemingly perfect suitcase would be discarded by the roadside, Ms Rui opened it and said she was shocked to find what appeared to be a human hand and arm.

She said: “I got such a fright, I thought my soul had left my body.”
She reportedly called the cops. Authorities with the Zhangjia Police Station arrived to investigate and opened the suitcase to find a CPR training manikin folded in half and discarded among other equipment.
Ms Rui has mistaken the dummy for a corpse, the police said.
The suitcase belongs to a local first-aid training centre, which has been ordered to take the dummy back and if unwanted, dispose of it by other means.
