Local media report the cocaine was found in a shipment of 40 packets of face masks, 22 of which had the drug hidden inside.

In the video, officers can be seen checking the boxes of masks, with the drugs camouflaged inside the masks.

The police confirmed that the powder inside the plastic bags was cocaine.

Face masks are in high demand because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the crooks may have thought they would be rushed through as a priority item.

Reports state that in China the price of cocaine is around 50,000 USD(40,744 GBP) per kilogramme, according to research from Insight Crime.

It is unclear if there have been any arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
