A man ordered to give a urine sample to cops went behind a bush and produced a sperm sample instead after taking what cops said was “an unusually long time”.

A van driver was ordered to give a urine sample to test for drugs after police became suspicious when he was pulled over for a random check.

The man was pulled over by police in Luedenscheid, a city in the Maerkischer Kreis district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The police gave him a tube and asked him to give them a sample.

The man went off behind a bush before turning up sometime later with the sample in the tube.

A police officer said: “He needed an unusually long time and came back somewhat ashamed.”

When police produced the sample they claimed it was not usable and asked him to do a saliva test instead.

The results showed the man was not under the influence of drugs and was allowed to carry on with his journey. It is unclear why the man produced a sperm sample instead of giving the police officers a urine sample, as requested.
