COP THAT: Man Randomly Shoots At Police Car And Gets Brutally Beaten During Arrest

This is the moment a gunman gets violently arrested by police officers after suddenly shooting at their patrol car while they were in it.

The incident took place at a convenience store in the city of Phoenix, in the US state of Arizona.

The Phoenix Police Department said in a statement obtained by Newsflash that the incident began outside the store when a man, who was not named, approached two officers and began talking with them as they walked from the store back towards their patrol car.

The officers got into their patrol car and the man continued to talk to them through the driver’s side window.

CCTV footage shows the patrol car starting to back out of the parking space when suddenly the man pulls out a gun and shoots at them a few times.

A bullet struck the patrol car’s spotlight, the Phoenix police said.

The armed man then runs into the nearby shop with the gun in hand.

Officers follow him inside and order him to drop the firearm and surrender.

In-store CCTV footage shows the man dropping to his knees and putting his hands in the air.

The officers run up to him and kick him on the head a couple of times, then put his hands in handcuffs seconds later.

An employee filmed the violent arrest, which captured the use of physical force by officers.

The man received injuries during the arrest and was taken to a local hospital before being booked into jail, the police said.

Both officers were reportedly uninjured.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
