This is the moment a female resident films two burly Russian cops who allegedly ignored her crime report because they were “having lunch”.

According to local media, one of the officers of the National Guard of the Russian Federation (Rosgvardia) has been fired over the incident while his colleague and immediate supervisor is facing disciplinary action.

The incident was filmed in the city of Ulyanovsk located in the south-western Russian region of Ulyanovsk Oblast and was later shared on social media.

The unnamed woman who recorded the incident claimed that police told her they were “having lunch” when she tried to report a crime to them.

According to Rosgvardia spokesperson Valery Gribankin, both officers are facing disciplinary action over the incident.

Reports said that one of the cops has already been dismissed while his supervising officer is still being investigated.

In the footage, the woman films an officer appearing to order food from a shop.

The heavyset cop leaves the shop with a bag of goodies and joins his colleague in the patrol car.

The woman then films he vehicle’s licence plate and the officer straightening himself before getting behind the steering wheel, apparently ignoring the woman throughout.

Reports suggest the woman had witnessed a drunk taxi passenger beating the driver and was reporting the incident to the cops, but this has not been confirmed by the authorities.
