A police officer has been fired after this video of him reportedly having a “party” with two young women in a patrol car while wearing a uniform racked up over 750,000 hits online.

Local media have reported both young women “appeared to be minors.”

The incident took place in the state capital of Toluca in the State of Mexico in central-southern Mexico, where the police officer, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly driving the patrol car while two unnamed young women were travelling with him.

The footage was filmed by the young woman who was sitting in the back seat of the patrol car and it shows a woman sitting in the front singing, dancing and turning up the volume of the songs playing.

The woman in the back is holding what is seemingly a blue alcoholic drink in a plastic cup and the officer can be seen in uniform driving.

The songs are then turned off as the cop answers a call as the woman in the front continue playing with the radio.

After the video was shared online the authorities reportedly announced that the police officer has committed a mistake for letting the civilians ride in the patrol car and apparently consuming alcoholic drinks.

The Ministry of Public Security of the State of Mexico have dismissed the police officer, according to local media.

The video has been watched over 753,000 times and netizens were quick to comment, such as ‘Ana Orozco’ who commented: “This is a shame, where are the parents of the young girls and the authorities and chiefs of the public servant.”

While ‘Mavhastu Kalimakus’ added: “The parents should send them to school.”

It is unclear if the police officer was on duty.
