This is the moment Parisian police step in to stop a pair of Brazilian bloggers giving tourists a saucy Eiffel in front of one of the city’s most iconic structures.
The pair had been about to record a new video in front of the Eiffel Tower to promote their bikini business when officers ordered them to cover up.
The two women – Gabriela Versiani, 24, and Gabily, 27 – seem to be about to slip out of their black coats to reveal their bright red swimwear underneath.
But police stepped in to stop them in front of crowds visiting the tower on 31st October, according to reports.
The video shows a female police officer approaching the pair and telling them sternly to cover up.
In front of them, a fellow influencer Vanessa Lopez seemingly wearing a blue blazer and trainers had been poised to capture the big reveal on camera.
Vanessa told her followers: “We were almost arrested, guys, because we were advertising for bikinis and they said we can’t.
“We said ‘ah, but it’s a bikini’.”
“I even said ‘lady, it’s because we have a bikini business.’”
Vanessa went on to explain that the police officers informed them that it is against the law to take semi-nude photos in front of a tourist destination.
The confrontation came to light in a video posted on Instagram by Luane Dias (@luaneofficial), 28, a Brazilian television personality who happened to be filming at the same time.
Luane captures the exact moment the two influencers manage to get a few snaps in before making attempts to cover up as a number of police officers arrive at the scene.
She then adds: “I’m glad I’m not with them.”
