The Playboy model who staged a series of nude protest photoshoots at iconic religious locations around the world has taken to the slopes of a VIP French ski resort where she crashed naked into a snowdrift.
Photographs and videos of Belgian model Marisa Papen made headlines around the world when she was imprisoned after posing naked at the Karnak Temple Complex near the Egyptian city of Luxor.
She also caused outrage in Israel when posing in front of Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall and in Turkey when she lifted up her burka inside Istanbul’s iconic Hagia Sophia, a former Byzantine church and Ottoman mosque which is now a museum, to reveal her genitals for a cheeky picture.

Speaking about her photographs in the iconic religious location she said: “For me, the biggest problem is with the institutions built around religion. They are driven by money and are soulless.”
She finished the project last year, but now the snaps and images have surfaced showing her in a lighter moment enjoying the ski resort – naked – at Cauterets in France.
She told central European News (CEN): “It was a lot of fun. Although when I crashed, I admit I was focusing more on the camera and didn’t properly look where I was going.”
The shot ends just as the naked young woman lands in the snowdrift.
In other shots she is seen on a chairlift or walking through the snow wearing only ski boots.
In the chairlift scene, another skier down below seems to notice her naked breasts, prompting the cameraman to jokingly shout out to him in French: “This is just for you!”
Marisa told CEN: “We hit the slopes early in the morning each day, then skiing until lunch, skiing till apero!! Same rhythm for the entire 5 days I was there actually. We did take one day trip to Lourdes, we almost took some shots there but we had to let the opportunity pass.”

She said the other skiers in the French resort had been really supportive of her filming, telling CEN: “I can’t recall one negative reaction tbh, people were laughing and cheering and some were doing the ‘brrrrr’ sign (you know hugging yourself and shaking) Some people asked for a picture, just good vibes…”
Cauterets is a plush ski resort located 32 kilometres (20 miles) from Lourdes in the Pyrenees mountain range. It is known for its thermal springs which are used to treat various ailments.
