Comedian And Wife Share Pain Of Losing Firstborn Son Two Days After Birth

A comedian and his beautiful wife have shared their pain of losing their first child, who was born 22 weeks prematurely.

Whindersson Nunes and his wife, Maria Lina Deggan, lost their firstborn son, Joao Miguel, on 31st May, two days after his birth at a maternity hospital in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, where he remained interned during his short time.

Whindersson wrote on social media on 30th May: “Yesterday I met my son. He is the image of me, he even has my feet, but he’s really tiny because he came a little earlier than expected. His mum was a lioness.”

The 26-year-old comedian, who hails from the north-eastern Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, also shared a song he had composed for his newborn son to Instagram.

He said he wrote the track in the hope that his son could hear it once he came home from hospital.

The 22-year-old civil engineering student wrote: “Touching your skin, feeling your warmth, looking at your little face, giving birth to you, all of these moments will remain in my and your father’s memories as the best of our lives.

“Your father and I will remember you and the thousands of times you brought us happiness inside my belly and in that one day of life that you were out here with us. Thank you, my Joao Miguel, you are everything that mum and dad always dreamed of, thanks for teaching us so much about love.”
