COLD FUZZ: Chicago Cop Busted Peeing On Florida Hotel Bar’s Ice Machine While On Hols

A Chicago police officer has been arrested for urinating on a Florida hotel bar’s ice machine while drunk on holiday in the Sunshine State.

Henry Capouch, 30, an officer with the Chicago Police Department, was arrested by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office while on holiday in Florida on Monday, 5th December.

He has been charged with one count each of simple battery and disorderly conduct, according to a sworn affidavit obtained by Newsflash from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department.

The affidavit states that police officers responded to a call at Jimmy B’s Beach Bar, which is located at the Beachcomber Hotel, in the Floridian resort city of St Pete’s Beach.

It is alleged that officer Capouch was caught red-handed by a hotel employee urinating on the ice machine.

It is also alleged that the hotel employee was hit by Capouch when they tried to intervene.

The affidavit says: “The victim is an employee at the establishment and was attempting to get ice from the ice machine when the victim discovered the defendant ‘pissing’ on the ice in the machine.”

The affidavit continues: “When the victim told the defendant to stop, the defendant began verbally cussing the victim and pushed him ‘a couple of times’ with both of his hands.” (sic)

The police also said that officer Capouch resisted arrest and shouted at the law enforcement officers while being told to sit down.

The battery charge relates to the Chicago officer allegedly striking the hotel employee in the disorderly conduct charge is related to the officer “creating a threat to the life or safety of the person or others.”

Capouch, who has reportedly been with the Chicago Police Department for five years, was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when he was arrested.

He was released from the Pinellas County jail the same day after his arrest after posting a USD 650 bond.

The case is ongoing. It is currently unclear when Capouch is next due in court.
