A school cheerleading coach accused of over 300 sex sessions with her daughter’s teenage ex- boyfriend is facing rape and sexual battery charges.
Accused Jennifer Jean Hawkins, 45, is said to have begun her steamy romps with her daughter’s ex-boyfriend six years ago while he was just 16.
After their first sexual encounter, they watched sports and she told him: “You’ll remember that soccer match for the rest of your life.”
The allegations only emerged when the former pupil – now 21 – wrote to his old school in Oklahoma City, in the US state of Oklahoma, to warn them about Hawkins.
He told school heads – it has emerged – that during over five years, he had sex with the coach more than 300 times.
Now Hawkins – who has been sacked from Westmoore High School – is facing second-degree rape and sexual battery charges.
Under local law, teachers are forbidden from having sexual relationships with students, even if they have reached the age of consent.
Court documents show the pupil’s first sexual encounter with Hawkins came as they were watching sports on TV.
The affidavit states that he was watching “a soccer game with Jennifer in the living room and Jennifer put her hand on his penis”.
It goes on to say that Hawkins “gave him a handjob” and told him “he would remember that soccer match for the rest of his life.”
The documents – obtained by Newsflash – tell how he was “going to Jennifer’s house several days of the week to have sex.”
The coach even allegedly picked the pupil up from school during lunch breaks and took him to her house for sex sessions.
But jealous Hawkins – described as “manipulative” in the documents – would often tell him off for fancying girls his own age.
In one text message back to her in 2022, he said: “I want you in my life, I just don’t want a romantic relationship.”
School officials began an investigation into Hawkins’ behaviour and, says local media, she allegedly broke down in tears and confessed, saying she had “made a mistake”.
She was dismissed and reportedly arrested earlier this week.
Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Austin said: “There’s been a lot of impact on this victim in particular because of the nature of this relationship, because it was so controlling.”
She added: “And his high school, his entire high school time frame where he should have been a student and should have been enjoying being a student, was in a relationship with her where she limited his friends and his interactions with others.”
Hawkins was arrested and taken to the Cleveland County Detention Center. She has been charged with second-degree rape and sexual battery.
