Clueless Safari Park Staff Unable To Use Car Jack To Free Trapped Alpaca

This is the moment alpacas mill around a car that has run over one of their group, which is seen struggling to free itself from underneath the vehicle.

Yet incredibly, staff at the Safari Park stand around watching and trying to call for someone to help on their phones, as they have no idea what to do on their own.

The upsetting incident happened at the Jinniu Lake Wildlife Park in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu province of the People’s Republic of China.

The person filming was a woman who had driven there with her family, who then saw the unfortunate alpaca trapped under the vehicle and struggling to free itself.

She said that she and her father sat watching it for 10 minutes before they realised that the staff were going to do nothing, and as her dad used to run a repair shop, he had then gone over and used the car jack to free the animal.

Online commentators noted how concerned the other animals were and it was reported that alpacas form strong social connections with other animals in their herd.

It was not revealed whether the driver faced any sanctions for the accident and the alpaca is reportedly recovering despite suffering a leg injury which is now healing.
