This video shows a daredevil clinging to a rocky overhang above a deadly void with just his fingertips.

The butterfly-inducing footage was filmed on the Lagoinha do Leste hiking trail in Florianopolis, Brazil.

It was posted online by Miquel Girones – who comes from Spain – on 27th December and has since been viewed thousands of times.

It shows the young man lifting himself by his fingertips and raising his legs as he dangles precariously over the void.

Miquel describes himself on social media as an author, marketing expert, and “mile running elite athlete”.

He writes online: “I help savvy business owners legally stop paying taxes.”

Miquel captioned the clip: “Self-reminder. Take more risks. It feels good.”

Netizen Andre Luis Colasante asked: “Is that not dangerous?”

While another social media user commented “that’s chilling” and “brave”.

A third netizen, however, was not fully convinced by the camera angle.

They wrote: “Is this like Pedra Bonita in Rio where there is a place to drop to like 50 cm below? Makes for awesome pics”.
