An adventure lover who has conquered the top of the world has shared these breathtaking images from his journey to the highest point of Mount Everest.

Taylor Adams, 33, told Newsflash in an interview how he takes time off his regular job as a pediatric critical care flight nurse to pursue his true love – the great outdoors.

Taylor, originally from Salt Lake City, in the US state of Utah, has undertaken many expeditions across the globe and says he has been lucky enough to have climbed all the Seven Summits without a hitch.

And sitting at the prize spot of achievements is one of his biggest feats – a climb to the summit of Everest in the spring of 2019.

The first piece of footage shows Taylor and a group of mountaineers venturing in the vicinity of Everest’s Camp I at 19,500 feet while being surrounded by some of Earth’s highest peaks.

The group slowly marches in between Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse as they are getting close to the very roof of the world.

And in the second video, they can be seen finally reaching the highest point of the Himalayas, being favoured by the spring weather that provided bright sunshine during their final steps.

It appears that more than a dozen adventurers accompanied Taylor on the last and most dangerous part of the climb as they were well into the Death Zone, and then finally at the top.

Taylor told Newsflash: “I had always loved the outdoors and camping and hiking growing up but never did anything crazy or started mountaineering until college.

“I went on a trip to Ecuador with some classmates where we climbed two big volcanoes, Cayambe and Cotopaxi (17,000+ and 19,000+ feet) there.

“I did well with the altitude and fell in love with the sport.”

Taylor said has been exceedingly lucky to reach all of the Seven Summits on his first attempt.

He added: “I’ve gotten more injured riding my bike around my neighbourhood.”

Of course, not every venture has been without risk for the adrenaline lover.

The third video, which shows avalanches crashing off the side of Everest, illustrates one of the many grave dangers lurking beneath the mountain tops.

Multiple blocks of ice can be seen breaking free and unleashing powerful avalanches, some of which apparently crushed everything in their path.
