This is the moment hitmen from the CJNG cartel in full military gear and carrying huge assault rifles warn they are going to slaughter their enemies in the country’s government.

The video has been widely shared on social media and it shows reported hitmen from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) carrying guns and wearing military gear while they pose for the camera with their faces covered.

One of the hitmen is heard saying: “The cleaning started, we have come to take the people from (rival cartel) La Familia Michoacana out of the state of Mexico, we are the people of Chito Cano”.

Reports said that the video is CJNG’s latest threat against the cartel La Familia Michoacana which is reportedly based in the state of Michoacan.

The group of hitmen are allegedly led by the drug dealer Alejandro Carranza, aka ‘Chito Canto’, who is believed to be in charge of the CJNG in the state of Michoacan.

A poster can be seen behind the hitmen on the video with the message: “The cleaning of all the dirty Familia Michoacana has started. We will not allow these b*stards to kidnap people or create rackets.

“We will also kill everyone who supports them, regardless if they are from the national or the state government. The state of Mexico, Michoacan and Guerrero have only one lord, the CJNG.”

The Secretary of Security of the state of Mexico Maribel Cervantes confirmed that several unnamed officials of the local government are being investigated for allegedly collaborating with the cartels to allow drug trafficking in the area, according to local media.

The State Police and the General Attorney’s Office are reportedly investigating the alleged alliances.
