This is the time-lapse footage of thousands of Chinese students running around a pitch like a live-action version of the classic game Snake.
Students at the Haimen No. 1 Middle School in the city of Nantong, which sits across the Yangtze River from Shanghai, were filmed running around the arena in teams to create a mosaic effect much like a live-action game of Snake.
Teachers told The Paper that they had devised the activity to give the students something fun to do.
The time-lapse drone footage shows students forming shapes on the pitch before heading inside.

A real-time clip of the event also shows the socially-distanced students jogging on the spot as the formation builds around them.
The school has previously posted aerial videos of its military-style flag-raising ceremony involving hundreds of students.
