This is the moment an adorable young girl trapped hanging by her neck from window bars stays remarkably non-fussed as firefighters use giant bolt cutters to set her free.

The tot, aged four, had reportedly climbed out the window of her ground-floor home and fell while standing on the metal security bars.

However, her head could not fit through the gap, leaving the girl dangling above the ground in the city of Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province in East China.

The local fire service was dispatched to the girl’s home near a branch of the 7 Days Inn, where they found her neither screaming nor crying.

Rescue footage taken by one of the seven firefighters at the scene shows the girl remaining perfectly still and quiet as a fireman props her up from below.

As a fireman covers her eyes, another rescuer uses a pair of large hydraulic cutters to remove one of the burglar bars by her head.

She is then carried out of the bottom of the window security bars as the video ends.

The child was freed in just one minute, and she was not harmed, the fire service said.

It is unclear whether her family members were home at the time of the accident.
