CHILD STRANGLER HANGED: Four-Year-Old Killed For Her Golden Earring

A man who murdered a four-year-old girl before stealing her golden earring and burying her has been hanged to death in Egypt.

Accused Ahmed H.M.Z., 29, was found guilty of killing and burying victim Rodina Ali Abdel Saber in Abu El Namras, a city in the Giza Governorate, in north-western Egypt, in March 2021.

Her body was found by police buried in farmland four days after her family reported her missing.

Major Abdel-Baqi Amin, chief of investigations at the Abu Al-Nomros Centre, was later informed that the body of a child had been found near an agricultural plot of land.

It was later determined that the body was indeed that of little Rodina.

Qena Criminal Court heard how the accused lured the youngster away from her home and strangled her to death before fleeing with the earring.

He was seized by police after they reviewed CCTV footage near Rodina’s home, according to local media.

Police arrested Ahmed H.M.Z. on 9th March 2021.

Judges found him guilty and sentenced him to hang after receiving legal permission from the Grand Mufti, according to local media.

The Grand Mufti of Egypt, currently Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam, is responsible for reviewing all death sentences.
